Working as protagonists, supporting cast, antagonists and comedian in kollywood. But has fetched the best acclamations across the entire South Indian Film Industry. He made his debut in Malayalam with Mammooty starrer ‘Big B’ and recently performed full-fledged lead role in ‘Vairam’.
He was popularly an All India Radio Tamil Jockey from 1988-1993 as a news reader and also on the Deepavali Celebration show. He had also acted in a number of small serials – including a small part in S.Ve. Shekhar’s Vanna Kolangal. He first came to fame in famous doordarshan serial Vizhutugal directed by Gopi Bhimsingh, which was instrumental in launching a great number of present day television stars.
His first break in commercial cinema was in Housefull where he played a corrupt cop. He has been approached by various filmmakers in Malayalam film industry .
Pasupathy Ramasamy was born in 1969 near Maduravoyal, a suburb of Chennai, India, is a theatre artist by profession who fine-tuned his acting skills through the famous acting school ,”Koothu-P-Pattarai,” based in Chennai. In 1984, He joined `Kuthupattarai,’ where he was there till 1997. He studied and grew up there till he started to act in films.
He is the only actor who refuses to act as a romantic hero. He later branched out into comedy with Mumbai Express and Majaa. His first lead role was in the National Film Award winning film Veyyil. He later received several other supporing and lead roles in the films Raman Thediya Seethai and Kuselan.
